To download a previous version of the VSDC Free Video Editor app for Windows, you can visit the official website of VSDC or reputable software repositories. Look for the "Downloads" or "Version History" section to find previous versions of the application. Be cautious when downloading software from unofficial sources to avoid any potential security risks.
The scene is ready but when I'd like to export the project - it doesn't show any data. What should I do?

Stephen Prastman
The official developer of the application created a tutorial page that can be visited by users. On the page you will find the correct steps you have to take in order to export a video. There is also a burning instruction posted at the bottom of the website.
Based on my experience concerning these kinds of apps, I would recommend changing the export settings by yourself instead of using the predefined ones.
How do you rotate a video section? I have selected the video and separated the part that needs to be rotated but I cannot find how to complete the process.

You need to select the video and to go to Editor > Video Effects > Transforms > Rotate. After that, you can adjust the rotation angle in the properties window.
When I add a video and press the preview, it starts to lag/glitch.

I've installed the application and repeated the procedure by adding a video file and everything worked normally. There were no lagging issues or something that might cause playback problems. By default, the software uses Windows Media Player to preview the files, therefore I recommend checking the video player to see if it's working just right.
Just started using VSDC. I have a MP4 video (Realillusion crazytalk) with a talking head animation with Green screen background.
When I import it into VSDC and remove the Green screen, it changes the background to black - I want the background to be transparent because I want to import the video into Adobe Captivate.
I export it as a FLV using the default settings and when I insert it into Adobe Captivate, the background is still black. What do I need to do in VDSC to overcome this? Do I need to use Adobe Media Encoder after exporting?

With the version 2.2.2, you have the possibility to create videos with semitransparency. The developer said that codecs have been added to support semitransparency (PNG, lossless JPEG) and the GIF format. You can select the option after you've loaded the video file. Use the Background Remover option from Video Effects > Transparency > Background Remove.
VSDC stops responding after viewing or exporting 5:00. Here is my crash report:

I have installed the application, loaded a video and applied some effects, then used the Preview button and the rendering was working just fine. I am using Windows 10 x64 with latest version of Media Player, XviD codec installed and all the updates applied.
I recommend applying all the Windows Updates, then if you have the possibility reinstall the software and repeat the whole procedure related to video editing and it should work.
If you still have issues, right click the setup package and choose Properties > Compatibility. Select a previous version of Windows from the drop down list and then launch the software again.
Hi. I am using VSDC since a couple of weeks. Never had a problem but now that I am trying to do a more length video I have a problem. I can reproduce the parts of the video without problems but when I previsualize... the hell! It freezes, I have tried erasing the transitions, wipe, chess, etc., but nope, the problems still occurs. I can not even export the video because it freezes too.
This is the crash report, I think that this is a random crash, not sure.:

I got by email what you want to do is make sure the app is running on a right verison on a PC,Mac if that does not work than make sure that it does not take all the computers "CPU" if that does work agian sorry.
No, the issue mentioned is not related to any political implication.

Try this version from Software Informer website, it does not force to buy the product.
